Is this your question, “How can I get my life working for me?”
For many people that is the case, their life is a series of disappointments, struggles, and shattered dreams. They’ve run the first mile and they are tired, and they are close to exhaustion, “No more, I can’t run the race any longer.”
Was the goal big enough, bold enough, expressive enough, or bountiful enough for you to complete the race? Sometimes when the goal is not as big as it should be it is easy to come up just a bit short at the end. Coming up short for some is failure, rather than being a lesson, it is a journey into darkness.
What would you do if you knew that you could alter the outcome of the race? Instead of ending the first mile in a heap before the finish line, how would it feel to roar across the line, arms raised to the sky with a huge smile brimming across your face? It can be done; it is a choice that you can make.
Thoughts fuel your emotions. Positive thoughts fuel a zest and vigor for life. Negative thoughts pull you into the rut and once in the rut it takes a lot more to get you out than it did to get you in.
What positive thoughts did you have today? Write them down and think of two more thoughts that are positive and uplifting.
