lift others up …

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch,
a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential
to turn a life around.”  Leo Buscaglia

Lifting others up is a powerful leadership technique.  Look for the good in a person and then build them up.   Everyone is doing the best they can all of the time.   Now that may seem like a strange statement.   It is only when we judge others that we see them in a light that appears they are not doing the best they can.

“If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.”  Booker T. Washington
